Racing Star, Nooresh Juglall Is Dead
Information reaching our news desk has it that popular racer Jockey Nooresh Juglall who reported to be in a critical condition after a fall at the Champ De Mars has sadly passed away. He jock Nooresh succumbed to injuries from a fall.
He was still unconscious and was placed on life support. Benny Woodworth (Golden Tractor) also involved in the crash, also suffered a serious elbow injury, but unlike Nooresh Juglall, he is conscious and is no cause for concern.
The International Racing Club confirmed his death in an official post they made via their Facebook page.

JOCKEY NOORESH JUGLALL DIES AFTER HORRIFIC FALL
Jockey Nooresh Juglall has passed away following a horrific incident at Champ De Mars Racecourse in Mauritius on Saturday afternoon. Friends at Juglall’s bedside in a Port Louis hospital confirmed that he died just after 8 pm. He was 29 years old.
The video replay of Race 7 shows that Juglall’s mount, Rule The Night, the backmarker in a six-horse field, appears to jump the road over the track in the 990m Gr3 Noble Salute Cup, then clips the heels of Golden Tractor (Benny Woodworth) right in front of him.
Woodworth feels free and away from danger when both horses came down, but Rule The Night rolled over Juglall, who was already unconscious when medics got to him and rushed him to hospital.
Who Is Nooresh Juglall?
29-year-old Nooresh Juglall was a popular Mauritius horse racer who is well known in South Africa.
He rides for trainer Sean Tarry and Clinton Binda, amongst others.
