Horseman Robbie Schroeder Dies At 61

Robbie Schroeder A professional horseman died 30th December 2021 at the age of 61. Circumstances surrounding his death was not disclosed to the public.

Who Was Robert “Robbie” Lynn Schroeder?

Born on December 17th, 1958 in Beaumont, Texas, Robbie was the youngest son of Ferdinand (Boots) and Jean Schroeder.

He began training his first horse-a Shetland pony named Chico when he was a teenager. At age of 12, Robbie was breaking colts and riding horses with his uncle Johnny. As a teenager, Schroeder rode bulls and rodeoed for several years. After high school, Schroeder and his cousin, Black Schroeder, competed on the amateur and professional bull riding circuit before moving to North Texas in 1978.

Robbie Schroeder has worked in a series of movies and television shows as a horse trainer. He made an emergence in movies and TV shows like Magnificent 7, The Good Lord Bird, and the remake of Walker Texas Ranger.

In 1999 he received the AQHA Professional Horseman of the year and bagged some World Championships title in AQHA, APHA and APHC. He was an AQHA life member.
