Owner Of Doubleview Vet Centre Dr Karen Bomford Has Passed Away

The owner of Doubleview Vet Centre Dr Karen Bomford has sadly passed away. Karen who has been managing the Doubleview Veterinary Centre since 2007 before becoming the practice owner in 2012 was reported to have died today April 28 2021. circumstances surrounding her death was not disclosed to the public.

In 2013, Karen was recognized by Worldwide Who’s Who for her dedication, leadership and excellence in animal care services.

The Doubleview Vet Centre in an official statement through their Facebook announced the news of Dr Karen’s death.

Excerpts From The Statement Below:-

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the tragic loss of our principal vet and owner of Doubleview Vet Centre Dr Karen Bomford on 25.4.21.

Dr Karen was not only the driving force behind the Doubleview Vet Centre and our esteemed colleague, she was our friend and mentor and made the Doubleview Vet Centre a family for everyone.

Her compassion for animals combined with her incredibly high veterinary standards set the benchmark for providing the best level of care for our patients. She was a pillar of strength and support for the community and will be deeply missed.

Our team of dedicated vets, nurses and staff at Doubleview Vet Centre will continue as usual to provide the best care for your pets and we want to thank you for your understanding, patience, and kindness during this grieving time.

Dr Karen Bomford: Few Things You Need To Know About Her!

She was the Practice owner of Doubleview veterinary centre. Karen has been managing the Doubleview Veterinary Centre since 2007 and became the Practice Owner in 2012.

A graduate of Melbourne University, Karen has worked and travelled across the globe to build up her expertise, knowledge, care and compassion.

Her vet career started at Doubleview Veterinary Centre in 2007 as the Veterinary Manager and in March 2012 she became the Practice Owner.

She has worked in several locations in both mixed and small animal practice.

Karen worked in Adelaide, Chesterfield UK, Cairns, Crediton UK, Cardiff UK, Zimbabwe and Perth and have participated in many aspects of Continuing Professional Development throughout her career.
