The Kelly Family star, Barby Kelly has sadly passed away. According to the statement released by her family, Barby died a few days ago after a brief illness. The nature of the sickness was not given in the statement.
Barby’s popularity grew in the 90’s, she was known for her dances through the concerts The kelly band made.
She learned how to dance ballet at the Ballet School when she was still a kid. In 2002, Barby released her first song “Papa Cool” which dedicated to her father. Her best-known songs are Oh Johnny, She’s crazy, Baby smile, Sweetest angel, Hooks.
Barby had years back suffered from a mental illness that prevented her from living alone, caring for herself, or taking responsibility for her own life.
The illness forced Barby Kelly to retired from the band in 2002 but later rejoined (studio albums only).
Announcing the news through their official Facebook page, The Kelly Family wrote:-
“Our beloved sister Barby passed away a few days ago after a short illness. We are deeply saddened and ask for your understanding that we are not currently commenting on this. We will miss Barby infinitely and always carry her in our hearts. Thank you for your concern and prayers “
