Pembroke Accident: Billy Hickey among the 2 Pembroke Youth Hockey Alumni who died

One of the students of Pembroke Youth Hockey who died after a tragic accident that happened in Pembroke road Massachusetts has been identified as  Billy Hickey.

The terrible accident happened along Pembroke road in Massachusetts.

Two of the victims were former players of the Pembroke Youth Hockey identified as Billy Hickey and Joey Birolini, they both reportedly lost their lives after the serious crash.

Police say the two men had in the early hours of Saturday sustained serious injuries after their car crashed into a pole.

The driver of the vehicle was in the roadway near the car and another man was found in the passenger seat, police said. Both were taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for treatment of their injuries.

the update says they have both passed on. Sadly they died from the injuries they sustained from the crash.

Pembroke Police are investigating the crash.

Reacting to their death the Pembroke Youth Hockey via their official Facebook page wrote – It is with great sadness to share that we have lost 2 amazing Pembroke young men as a result of a tragic car accident in our town early this morning. Joey Birolini and Billy Hickey are both Pembroke Youth Hockey alumni.

They were both parts of the greatest PYH Peewee A team of all time, going 50-0 and winning the State Championship in 2011, and their team banner hangs at Hobomock rink 1. More information will be available in the coming days. Please consider donating to the families. Our Pembroke and surrounding communities have already stepped up big time raising close to $100k.

The two dudes were all members of the Pembroke Pythons Pee Wee a Hockey team based in Pembroke Massushate.

Their team were made up of – the team members included goalie Justin Pijanowski, defensemen Conor Gilliand, Jacob Durocher, Jesse Pulselli, Billy Hickey, Erica Lunn, and Brian Deacetis and forwards Zachary Simpson, Joey Birolini, Michael Fahie, Colin McCabe, Joe Tarquini, Jake Marani, Brendon Jones, Robbie Holyoke, and Cam Judkins.
