Two boys were shot dead following a multiple shooting spree that happened on Pollock Street on Thursday evening.
The incident took place in a residence in Westbury, Johannesburg.
According to Russel Meiring, one of the ER24 spokespeople revealed that two boys, believed to be 15 and 16, were killed and two others were injured in the shooting.
Speaking further on the incident, Meiring said their paramedics and the city’s EMS arrived on the scene at 4.30 pm and found one boy lying outside the residence while three others were found lying on the floor.
“Medics quickly assessed the patients and found that two boys, believed to be aged 15 and 16, had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead,”
Two of the victims were lucky enough as the medics swiftly attended to their wounds before they were taken to the hospital
Meiring said, “They were treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.”
