Katherin Thornton was an Australian woman who died and claimed a Cabinet Minister raped her when she was 16 years old. Katherin Thornton suddenly passed away at her home, on Wednesday, 24th June 2020 in Adelaide. Sources claimed she took her own life while fighting for Justice.

The 49-year-old woman died just before lodging a formal rape complaint making conviction impossible.

Hours before she died, she reportedly rang police to say she did not want to pursue the police process.

Katherine Thornton trending in Australia. Seems like she is accomplished in social research. She is an author of many publications which include, “The Messages Of It’s Walls & Fields”, a book that covered the history of St Peter’s College from 1847 to 2009.

Who Is Katherine Thornton? – Education

Katharine Thornton matriculated from St Peter’s Girls School in Adelaide as dux of humanities. She studied history at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a first-class honours degree.

Her research interests have encompassed the roles of women in Australian history, the French language, the cinema arts, and the consequences of war. St Peter’s College appointed Katharine its School Historian with the objective of researching and writing this book, a task she took up with considerable vigour and acute intelligence. She served as School Historian from 2001 to 2009.

Cabinet Minister Involved Identifies Self

The Cabinet minister involved in Katherine’s rape allegation has spoken up, says nothing in the allegations that have been printed ever happened.

According to BBC News, Australia’s Attorney-General Christian Porter has identified himself as the cabinet minister at the centre of a rape accusation. Mr Porter denied the allegations levelled against him but affirmed that he had known the woman “for the briefest periods, in debating competitions, when we were teenagers, about 33 years ago”.
