One person has been confirmed dead following a shootout at the Boise State University campus.

The police on Monday said they responded to a call about a shooting heard around 11:30 Monday night on the 1400 block of Chrisway Drive, on getting to the scene they discovered the victim who had several gunshot injuries.

The victim, unfortunately, died on the way to the hospital, Police say the two suspects have been taken into custody.

Police conducted a search of the area and found two suspects who were taken into custody.

Authorities closed to traffic at Chrisway between University and Boise while they conducted their investigation.
