Ex PBA Bowler & Bowling Legend Mo Pinel Is Dead

Former PBA Bowler & Bowling Legend Mo Pinel has sadly passed away. The news of his death was confirmed on social media today March 6 2021.

According to reports Mo Pinel died in Baton Rouge, LA this morning due to complications from COVID-19.  He had recently contracted the COVID-19 virus and his heart, lungs, and body fought off this terrible virus as long as it could.

Mo Pinel was one of, if not the greatest pioneer to the advancement of bowling equipment the game has ever seen.

Recognized as one of the most colorful personalities in bowling, Mo Pinel has famously revolutionized ball technology several times over the past 25 years.

In 1991, he introduced the AMF Sumo, the first mass-market flaring bowling ball. Six years later, he developed the Hammer 3D Offset for Faball, widely credited as the ball that forevermore changed ball design.

Mo was so much more than Cores and coaching. He was an incredible man, devilish charmer, friend, partner in crime, and Father. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family during such a difficult time.
