EPL: Here’s What Michael Owen Said About Arsenal 2-1 Win Against Tottenham

The arsenal team made a surprising win yesterday against Tottenham and here’s what Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker, Michael Owen said about the match.

Tottenham lost the match yesterday following a skilful play from Martin Odegaard that netted a goal and also a penalty from Alexandre Lacazette.

But in the 33rd minute of play Tottenham were able to end the game with a goal from Erik Lamela.

Reacting about the match in a series of tweets made via his Twitter page, Owen stated that Arsenal “thoroughly deserved” their victory over Tottenham but admitted that the Gunners were lucky to be awarded their penalty in the second half.

“Big statement from Arteta. He dropped his best player for disciplinary reasons and still won. @SpursOfficial very disappointing.”
