Authorities said on Tuesday that Ahmad al-Alivi Alisa was an armed man who opened fire on a King Soopers grocery store in Colorado, ending about 10 lives of innocent people who were shopping at the mall, including a Boulder police officer.

The name of the 21-year-old detainee was released during a press conference by Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold, who did not reveal the possible motive for Monday’s bloodshed.

 

Law enforcement source has revealed on Tuesday that another weapon had been found in the suspect’s Denver home. According to the source, the weapon used during the attack was an AR-15 pistol, which was modified with a pistol.

Authorities believe that Alisa was the only participant, that there is no additional danger to the community.

The shooter was charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder under an arrest warrant.

The verdict described Alisa as armed with either a rifle or a “black AR-15” and wearing a “tactical” or “armoured” vest.

Using a law enforcement database, the certificate states that investigators found that Alissa had acquired a Ruger AR556 pistol on March 16.
Michael Dougherty, a Boulder County attorney, said Alice is an Arvada native of Boulder և Denver և who “lived most of her life in the United States.”
