Sarah Harry died peacefully at her home in Melbourne after a long illness. Sarah was a proud and devoted mum to Charlie and Max – they were the joy and loves of her life and her only regret was not being able to see them grow into their potential. Carry her in your hearts, boys.

Sarah was adored by her family and friends for her kindness, generosity, passion for social justice, and sense of fun. Sarah’s ultimate calling was to facilitate change – both for her clients in their daily lives and in her high-profile activism work and teaching.

Sarah was the first plus size Australian women to appear on the cover of a yoga magazine. She was a quick witted and articulate media commentator and a tireless advocate for fat yoga, body positivity and HAES. She was empathetic, wise and a source of comfort to many struggling with mental health.

Sarah will be greatly missed by her parents, Mary and John, siblings Pip, Nico and Michael; nieces and nephews Sophie, James and Olivia, her beloved “Tribe” of loyal friends, and brothers in law, Dale, Damo and Brett.
