DePaul Catholic High School, Tyler DiRussa Dies Unexpectedly

DePaul Catholic High School, Tyler DiRussa has suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at the age of 25. Tyler who graduated in the Class of 2013 at DPCH was reported to have died on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Circumstances surrounding his death was not disclosed to the public.

The DePaul Football took to their official Twitter page to announce the sad demise of Tyler.

In a series of tweets they wrote – It’s with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of a class of 13’ OL Tyler DiRussa. We are keeping the DiRussa family in our thoughts and prayers. Rest Easy Spartan.

Born and raised in Pequannock, Tyler graduated from DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne in 2013. During his childhood days, He played baseball, lacrosse and football.

While in Highschool, Tyler was made the captain of their Lacrosse football team.

Tyler was voted 1st Team All-County Offensive Lineman and 2nd Team Big North Offensive Lineman. He received a football scholarship to play at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA where he played guard for three years.

He bagged his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, Minor in Criminology from Ramapo College, Mahwah.
