Life is cruel and horrible! I shouldn’t be writing this for another 50 years at least. Yesterday heaven gained a legend. There was and only ever will be one Hannah brown. You were a true friend. Always there when I needed a chat or advice. Always there to have a laugh with at a show and sink several baileys.

But most importantly you were there the next morning, feeding bedding etc without needing to be asked to do it. Always making sure I knew there was a big job on in a final line up. Always a smile on you’re face, plenty of banter, a sharp tongue, yes you were a temperamental bugger but you had a heart of gold. You’ll never walk in a ring at the winter fair with me again but I know you’ll be up there looking down on us and giving us a whistle to move a leg I’m sure.

You kept saying how you hated the chevies but I’m sure you loved them really. The next one will be done for you Brownie. You were like a little sister to me, always had each other’s backs even when things weren’t 100%. Was an honour when you asked me to be part of your big day. You’ll never be forgotten in our house and the show picture will be hung proudly forever.

Thank you for what you’ve taught me and it’s been a blast. It’s been an honour to have known you and have you by my side showing. You truly are the northern star that now shines bright above us all. Sleep tight Brownie fach. You will be missed.
