Missouri pastor has been slammed a compulsory leave penalty for telling women to look like Melania Trump

Missouri pastor, Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark has been slammed a compulsory leave penalty for telling women in his congregation to look like the United States former first lady, Melania Trump.

The pastor was accused of making racist and homophobic comments during his sermon.

“I’m not saying every woman can be the epic trophy wife of all time like Melania Trump,” Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark said last month in a sermon at First General Baptist Church in Malden, Missouri, as he preached at the altar.

Not everybody looks like that, amen,”

“Most women can’t be trophy wives, but you know … maybe you’re a participation trophy.”
“Clark said during the 22-minute session. “But you don’t need to look like a butch either.”

According to the pastor, the goal was for women to please their husbands and look like ‘women’

“Men have a need for their women to look like women. Sweatpants don’t cut it all the time,” said Clark.

“Wearing flip-flops and pyjamas to Walmart – that ain’t going to work. Ain’t nothing attractive about that. It ain’t. And men want their wives to look good at home and in public, can I get an Amen!”7

The pastor during an interview, said “If beautiful women from the south are called ‘southern belles,’ does that mean beautiful women from Mexico are called ‘Taco Belles?’ ”

The General Baptist Ministries said it did not stand by the pastor’s words.

“The sermon included comments that are not consistent with the positions and values of General Baptists,” the organization said in a statement.

“General Baptists believe that every woman was created in the image of God, and they should be valued for that reason,” the church said.

“Furthermore, we believe that all individuals regardless of any other factors are so loved by God that Christ died for them.”

It added that Clark had been scheduled to moderate the General Association of General Baptist meeting in July 2022 but “has resigned from that position.”

In addition, the church said Clark is undergoing counselling.
