Production Director At WCCO, JACK-FM, Dan Culhane Has Passed Away



WCCO Radio Producer for Chad Hartman, JACK-FM, Dan Culhane has reportedly passed away. The news of his death was announced today on social media.

No cause of death has been reported yet as of the time of filing this information but sources claimed he died from cancer.

Dan’s Colleague, Henry Lake took to his Twitter page to pen down his heartfelt tribute. Henry described Dan as a great guy who made a remarkable voice on radio and TV commercials.

I’m so saddened to learn of the passing of my colleague Dan Culhane. What a great guy. I’ve known him a long time going back to the Clear Channel days. You’ve all heard his remarkable voice on radio and tv commercials. My thoughts go out to his family. Dan will be missed; he tweeted.

The Host of The CGP, weekdays on 940 ESPN, Christopher Gabriel has also reacted to the news of Dan’s demise. He said that Dan was one of the most talented guys he has ever known in radio.

His tweets read:- I’m beyond saddened to learn @Dan_Culhane has passed away. One of the most talented guys I’ve ever known in radio, he always took time to mentor. If you asked, he relished helping you. But more than the work, Dan was just so incredibly kind. Rest In Peace my friend.

Dan Culhane alongside Tom Bernard started the “Tom and Dan” show in 1986 featuring sports reports from WCCO-TV sports anchor Mark Rosen.

He joined WCCO, JACK-FM, The Wolf Radio Stations in May 2011 and has worked with the radio for over 9 years. He was the production director for Salem communications from 2008 to May 2011.

In 1981 he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior where he bagged his BS degree in Business administration.
