Deez Nuts Bassist, Sean Kennedy Has Reportedly Passed Away


Former I Killed The Prom Queen member and currently the Deez Nuts bassist, Sean Kennedy has sadly passed away. The news of Sean’s death flooded social media today.

According to the information posted online, the legendary bassist died yesterday February 23 2021. His cause of death or what led to his sudden demise is not yet known as at the time of filing this report.

Musician Crafter618 announced the news of Sean’s death through his official Instagram page. He said they spoke on phone last week but could not believe that will be the last.

Taking to his Instagram page he wrote – For years we stood side by side on stage or in-band photos. We slept on floors, in vans, planes and somehow managed to tour the world. Time went way to fast. We experienced highs and lows on the road and after all, we went through, you will always be my friend. As the years passed us by I’m glad we’ve always been there for each other. When I called you last week I didn’t think it would be the last. I wish I could say goodbye. Love and will always miss you mate.

Sean Kennedy and I Killed The Prom Queen

Before joining the Deez Nutz Sean Kennedy had formerly worked with I Killed The Prom Queen. During that time he was a long time member and their main bass player.

He parted ways with the band group in August 2013 and said his decision leaving the group was due to personal reasons. After his departure, Sean Kennedy was replaced by Benjamin Coyte.

Sean Kennedy & His former band group reunited back in August 2018 during the Australia festival UNIFY gathering.

The Deez Buts is an Australian hardcore punk band that was established in Melbourne, Victoria in 2017 and currently has the likes of vocalist JJ Peters, guitarist Matt Rogers aka Real Bad and drummer Alex Salinger band members.

Sean Kennedy joined the band group in March 2014 following the exit of bassist Jon Green, who decided to leave Deez Nuts to pursue his personal life. Sean Kennedy replaced Jon Green at Deez Nuts when he left the musical group.
