It’s hard to put into words how heartbroken we all are to hear of the passing of one of the greatest legends ever to have lived…Rick Graham. You gave your life to rock and roll and you will never be forgotten. Love you Rick the king RIP xxx; They posted on Twitter.

Penning down their tribute they wrote – Today we received the devastating news of the passing of a friend and absolute legend, Rick Graham.

We first met Rick in 2011 when he attended one of our shows in Earl Shilton, it was clear from the first meeting that he was a special guy and someone who would make your life better by knowing him. From that moment on we became good friends, with him attending many of our gigs and offering us nothing but encouragement, support and advice (and backstage passes) in between regaling us with many stories of his multi-coloured life on the road.

We fondly remember him taking us out to a little Indian restaurant before a show in Leicester, the place didn’t inspire confidence, but it turned out to be the best vegetarian meal we’d ever had….and he paid for the lot!

Everyone who met Rick will know what a big-hearted, talented, loveable and quirky guy he was. We are so sad to have to write these words. Rest in Peace Rick. A true gent and legend.
