Racing Champion, Tanner Byholm Dies Unexpectedly

Red Cedar Speedway are mourning the death of one of their car racer, Tanner Byhom who passed away yesterday unexpectedly.

Tanner Byholm has been identified as one of the victims of the Janesville fatal plane crash in southern Wisconsin that took the life of two people.

The tragic plane crash was reported to have happened on Tuesday 16 February 2021. According to the information posted on the Fox6, the small plane crashed after it took off from the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville.

Further reports from Authorities stated that the plane went down in a swampy area and was partially submerged in ice and mud.

Reports from The Janesville Fire Chief Ernie Rhodes revealed that was in contact with the airport tower for a very short time and was a little bit faulty.

The Red Cedar Speedway took to the official Facebook to announce the death of Glidden, WI racer, Tanner Byholm. They described his death so unfortunate and sudden.

Penning down their tribute they wrote on Facebook – Everyone at the Red Cedar Speedway is saddened to learn of the unfortunate passing of Glidden, WI racer Tanner Byholm. Tanner and his dad Bill have joined us many times over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Byholm family.
