Filipino-American Television Journalist, Katherine Creag Dies At 47

Filipino-American Television Journalist, Katherine Creag is dead. Katherine Creag who was a member of the News 4 was reported to have died yesterday Evening. Her cause of death is not yet known as at the time of filing this report.

ABC News reporter, Reena Roy has taken to her official Twitter handle to pen down her tribute to Kat’s family.

In a series of tweets, she wrote – So heartbroken. Sending love to our colleagues at NBC & Kat’s beautiful family. I was lucky enough to work alongside Kat on the AM shift. I’ll never forget her big smile, her bubbly energy (even at 4 am!), and our group breakfasts after the morning shows.

Creag was born Of Filipino-American descent, she attended college at New York University, located in New York City, New York. During college, Creag received practice in news casting while finishing a senior project.

She first worked with the NY1 television in New York City and in November 2010 She joined WNYW-TV, where she reported for the channel’s Good Day New York and Fox 5 Midday newscasts.

Creag has received a few awards for her astounding works. She received an Emmy Award for an interview with John F. Kennedy, Jr. She also received an Edward R. Murrow Award for her journalism.
