Brian Hare wrote – Sad to hear of the untimely passing of a good buddy of mine who I was honoured to know and got to do many detailing jobs on some of his amazing builds back in the day. I last saw Mitch of Mitch Henderson Designs about three years ago when we were blocked sanding a hotrod together in my shop. I will always remember the many talks, laughs and cry’s we had together. God just got himself one hell of a hotrod builder and custom painter! Mitch RIP bro, until we meet again! Keep that sanding block flat and wet braddah!

Jerry Lweis wrote – I still can’t quite process the idea that you’re gone. Mitch was a good friend and one thing for sure is he had your back no matter what! You always knew where you stood with him because he had no filter nor did he ever make excuses.

Seeing the love and how much he touched the automotive community pouring out on social media has been beautiful. I just wish he was here to see it. Mitch was so many things to so many people. We had so many good times and memories from more states than I can remember.

We shared a friendship that spanned 25 years or so. He was there for me when life hit hard and I tried my best to support him through troubled times as best I could. loyalty is a word not used often these days but if you knew Mitch, you knew he was loyal to his friends and family like no other! He was fueled by his passion for pushing the automotive boundaries and always landed on his feet with a smile on his face. I often told him how it seemed nothing could hold him back and I always admired his drive and skill.

You’ve made a huge impact on the world and now it’s time to rest easy my friend. We often spoke of the other side and what it would really be like. My heart is heavy but I take comfort that you have found peace. Much love Mitch Henderson.
