Uncle John’s BAKERY CEO, Samuel Mensah Dies Of COVID-19

Information reaching our new desk has it that Uncle John’s Bakery a london-based Ghanaian business, Samuel Mensah populary known by his stage name as Xploder has passed away. He was reported to have died today January 28 2021. According to reports, Xploder died of Coronavirus complication.

Actor and writer, Femi Oyeniran took to his twitter handle to announce that Samuel Mensah has passed on.

In a series of tweets he wrote – RIP to Samuel Mensah aka Xploder. Condolences to the family, especially D Dark in this difficult. Known these brothers from secondary school. It was beautiful to see the greatness that he achieved in the business world with Uncle John’s Bakery. Love and light.

Samuel came to the limelight of the entertainment industry after on grime tracks such as “Mission Riddim” alongside D Dark, Scrufizzer, Lady Lykez, Roachee, Maxsta and Zeph Ellis, as well as D Dark’s “Be Smart” Remix with Ms Banks and Scrufizzer.

He gave up his music career to focus on running the bakery business that was established over 25 years ago by his parents.

Sam has brought a number of new innovations to the business, improving the business’s digital presence, from its website to how they engage with their customers. He was a finalist in last year’s Black British Business Awards.
