A Facebook user posted – My cousin Amy Willier was a beautiful, funny and world class beader and Cree artisan. She and my aunty Yvonne have made moccasins for all of my relatives over the years for their journey to the spirit world. She was the face and voice of Moonstone Creation Native Gallery and Gift Shop and a major influence in Calgary and Treaty 7 as an Indigenous entrepreneur who shared her cultural teachings and gifts with the world. I’m completely shocked and the community has lost a major influence and role model. My thoughts and prayersare with my Aunty Yvonne and her son Colton.
