Suspected Car Hijacker Shot Dead Near R101 In Tshwane


A man suspected to be a car Hijacker has been shot dead near R101 road  in Tshwane.

The incident which took place around R101 road near Monument park in Tshwane had the suspect shot multiples times while trying to hijack a car in the area.

Police spokeswoman, Captain Augustinah Selepe while revealing more details over the incident to the newsmen said that incident involved five suspects driving a red Toyota double cab blocked a grey Porsche Caynne.

According to her, The suspects approached the driver of the car and he immediately bring out his gun and shot at one of the criminals.

The other suspects drove off with their Toyota double cab leaving the suspect behind.

The police said the suspect’s firearm and ammunition was seen at the scene of the shooting.

More Investigation is still carried out by the police as at the time of filing this report.
