“At the moment, Cavani has a few more years in him. So, I will not say anything other than that,” said Solskjaer as said.

“He had a positive impact when he joined. Let’s focus on the development of everything. However, Cavani still has a few more years in him,” continued the coach.

Solskjaer will also give him more confidence Cavanito play from the early minutes. So far, the former Napoli player has only started three times.

“Cavani will definitely start. You can’t put a player of his quality apart from that place.”

“We have a lot of starters, more than 11 players. That is the situation when you are at a team like Manchester United,” said the Norwegian tactician.

“You have to believe in yourself. I believe in him. However, there is a fight for a good place at Man United. Cavani will probably start a lot of games.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the opportunity to prove his words to put Cavani as a starter when Manchester United host Wolverhampton Wanderers, Wednesday (30/12). The Red Devils need three points to keep Liverpool at the top of the standings.
