Davis Impressed With Kuzma Performance When Lakers Beat Suns

American professional basketball player Kyle Kuzma showed another brilliant performance when the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns with a score of 112-107. Anthony Davis also thinks Kuzma will play an important role when the Lakers seek to defend the NBA title this year.

After playing brilliantly when the Lakers beat the Los Angeles Clippers, Kuzma returned to playing well when the Lakers competed at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Thursday (17/12) afternoon WIB, the home of the Suns.

In the NBA pre-season game, Kuzma managed to lead the Lakers scoring 23 points. Plus Talen Horton-Tucker who managed to score 18 points.

Anthony Davis immediately gave praise to the young Lakers star. According to him, Kuzma will play an important role when the Lakers try to defend the NBA title this year.

“It’s going to be a big year for him,” Davis said after the game. “He will play a bigger role for us this year and we need him to continue to do what he is doing.”

Actually, Frank Vogel’s team had been expecting Kuzma’s brilliant performance since last season. He is expected to be the Los Angeles team’s third choice in scoring. However, his form during his time in the bubble did not live up to expectations.

However, Kuzma managed to record 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. When asked about his role for next season, Kuzma said he did not know. “I don’t know, we’ll see,” he said.
