Jedda Cole Death – Mick Innes Homes And Away Actor Is Dead

Popular Australian actor, Jedda Cole has passed away. He was reported to he died yesterday December 13 2020. Jedda Cole who came to the limelight of the entertainment industry for playing Rod on Home an away died at the age 67.

Reports from sources claimed that the actor died of lung cancer. Jedda for a long time has been battling with the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease​ — a condition which caused widespread deterioration of his lungs but sadly succumbed the illness early on Saturday morning at his family home in Christchurch, New Zealand.

He began his acting career in the 1980s when he relocated to Australia and spanned three decades and starred in theatre, film and TV including a recurring role on long-running Kiwi soap, Shortland Street, comedy series Hounds and a stint on Home and Away in 1996 as ‘Rod’.

His cousin, Geoff Innes took to his official Facebook account to announce that the actor has passed on.

In his solo theatre show, Zen Dog: Hazy Recollections from the Life of Mick Innes, Innes recounted stories from his extraordinary life, from his struggles with alcoholism, rehab and multiple marriages.

During a performance in 2013, he reportedly suffered a heart attack on stage but was back doing what he loved with an updated show a few years later.
