Faith Nketsi has officially dropped her music career and has given reasons for her decision.
According to her, Music is time-consuming and needs a lot of passion. Faith said she can’t really give the music industry such attention it requires to stay afloat.
After getting lots of bashing from social media users some months ago, she decided to speak on her next move.
The socialite who dropped a hip hop EP in 2019 under DJ Maphorisa’s label thanked him for the opportunity he gave to her to be in his team.
“I don’t think it’s in me any more and I don’t have the time for it.”
“When I got signed to the record label (Maphorisa’s) it was very clear that it was just something I was trying out. It was something that both me and Maphorisa were like, ‘OK let’s try to do this and see what will happen.”
“I mean, for me, I love hip hop, I always say that. When I got into it, same as season one (of her reality show) I didn’t know what I was doing. But now I see that this is very time consuming and it needs a lot of passion and something that I can’t really give to the music industry like that,” She said.
