In a viral shared online had Peruvian police fired tear gas to disperse protesters during clashes over Vizcarra’s impeachment.

The protesters were demonstrating against the impeachment of President Martín Vizcarra on Tuesday (November 10).

Footage shows a Lima resident running away with fellow protesters as tear gas is fired.

Peru’s Congress voted to impeach President Martin Vizcarra over allegations he accepted bribes in return for distributing government contracts.
