Read: It is with extreme sadness that I confirm the death of cadet Brandon Williams ‘23, a member of the Corps of Cadets. Brandon was a sophomore Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences major in the College of Agriculture from Mineral Wells, Texas. He served as the Career Readiness Corporal and an Assistant Fire Team Leader for his outfit, Squadron 8. Brandon was pursuing an Air Force contract and aspired to fly for the Air Force. All who knew Brandon will remember him as a young man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had dreams of a career with the Air Force and chose his major because of his love for nature. His loss will affect all of us for a long time to come.

I want to offer my condolences to Brandon Williams’ family, friends, and fellow cadets on his loss. We all stand together as Aggies today as we mourn the loss of one of our own. All of us will miss Brandon.

As an Aggie, I hope the Williams family takes solace in knowing Brandon will never be forgotten, and the unique Aggie spirit of camaraderie that is such an integral part of Texas A&M and the Corps of Cadets will hold fast to support them in this very difficult time.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. Thanks to all of you for your concern, prayers and support of Brandon, his family, and his fellow cadets – the Aggie family at its very best. God Bless Brandon Williams and the entire Williams family.
