3.5 magnitude Earthquake felt off Saldanha Bay Coast & Cape Town

There is a report of Tsunami alerts as 3.5 magnitude Earthquake hits off Saldanha Bay Coast, Cape Town.

Residents were still in shock as  3.5 magnitude quake struck the region at 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday [November 17], shortly after a magnitude 3.5 earthquake shook the city.

The epicentre was reported at 41 km south of Saldana at a depth of 5 km. The whole city woke up. Residents from Paarl to Tokai and Hout Bay said they felt the shock.

 

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake shook the coast of Africa on Saturday, September 26, with no reports of injuries or severe damage. Another concussion was felt shortly afterwards and then again on Sunday morning. Some said the tremors on Sunday morning were stronger than the night before.

On October 1, the residents of Gauteng felt another tremor, it was confirmed that it was a 2.8 magnitude earthquake.

The epicentre was reported 5 km southeast of Randfontaine in the West Rand of Johannesburg.
