South African sensational singer who passed away last week following a complication from diabetes has been laid to rest.

Mshoza whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi, was buried today at Westpark Cemetery in Montgomery Park with friends and relations in attendance to bid their final farewell.

The death of the 37-year-old singer came as a shock to so many people as they never expected such a sad demise. She left behind two children and a career spanning over two decades.

The kwaito artist, who has been dubbed the “first lady of kwaito”, rose to fame with her smash hit _Kortes _in the early 2000s.
