Wedekind Road Reno shooting: Police arrests 20-year-old man

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of killing a man in a shooting at 3,200 on Wedekind Road on October 20.

Speaking to the media, Reno police said the incident took place around 1 p.m. when officers responded to a report of the shooting.

According to them, upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

 

 

 

The suspect had already fled the area, and the victim was taken to Reno, where he was treated.

The investigation by the officers revealed that the victim was involved in an argument with Aldahir Garcia, who was in a relationship with the victim’s sister.

According to police, Garcia shot the victim several times during the argument.

On November 24, officers discovered Garcia, arrested him, and transferred him to a prison in the Washo area.
