Kwaito Singer, Mshoza Is Dead

Talented Kwaito singer, Nomasonto Maswanganyi AKA Mshoza has sadly passed away. She was reported to have died today November 19, 2020, at the age of 37.

Her manager Thanduxolo Jindela revealed that she was rushed to a Jhb hospital last night and succumbed to diabetes-related complications this morning.

Mshoza caught Coronavirus while on a business trip in Kuwait and has been battling with diabetes for a long time now.

The controversial star, Nomasonto Maswanganyi was well known for her skin lightening scandal. Her hit single, “Kortes” opened doors for young women in the Kwaito/ hip hop.

Mshoza was signed to Bulldawgz record label and came to the limelight of the entertainment industry after featuring on Mzambiya and Msawawa debut album “Bulldawgz First Lady”.

Born on 1st July 1983 in Johannesburg Meadowlands Clinic Mshoza Lived with her grandparents in Protea North from 1988 who raised her until the age of 19 when her grandmother passed away.

Mshoza went to Jam Alley mid-1999 where she freestyled as a contestant over Chiskop’s instrumental (Abasazi) she was voted No.1 by Loyiso Bala and spotted by former Jam Alley presented Nimrod Nkosi and producer of Jam Alley Oscar Mlangeni. Eight months later she asked to feature on Mzambiya and Steve Likwiliya’s Jersy Number 10 EP, which was released in 2000.

Mshoza, who has recently been hitched twice previously, as of late got married in February this year to East Rand financial specialist Prince Dlamini at a Home Affairs office in Joburg.

Mshoza publicly admitted to having undergone several plastic surgery procedures in a quest to look like US-based female rapper Nicki Minaj. Her latest cosmetic surgery was aired on MTV Base. Mshoza is rumoured to have undergone breast augmentation, nose job, dimple chin, skin lightening, and lip enhancement.
