The Kappa Delta at the University of South also reacted to the death of Ave Hingson.

Penning down their tribute they wrote – It is with unimaginable grief that we share that today, our sister Ava passed away in a tragic accident. She was a vision of light and someone whose deep kindness we all wanted to embody.

She illuminated every space she entered. She appreciated every detail of the world around her, reminding us all of the beauty and light within it because of the love with which she viewed it.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she changed with her own kindness and generosity, and especially with her unique ability to see and bring out the best in every person. Ava never met a stranger. She is an irreplaceable piece of all of our lives: her empathy, intentionality, and authenticity were unparalleled. She will always be a part of our circle.

AOT to our beautiful, radiant, and truly lovely Ava. We will miss you every single day but we will carry on the spirit of the magnificent person you were with every act of kindness and light going forward.

We will remember you with every sunset we see, every moment of love we share, and every ray of light we feel. The pure goodness you embodied remains intangible. We love you forever.
