Pro Surfer, John Shimooka’s wife Lisa died a year ago before his death

Lisa Shimooka the wife of late Hawaiian surfer John Shimooka has been reported dead.

We have learnt that Lisa died on 21st September 2019 before her husband John died in his home this morning.

Two months ago, on the first anniversary of the death of his wife, Lisa, John posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

John Shimooka has been a member of the world surfing elite for several seasons in the 1990s. It was reported that he died today, November 16, at the age of 50.

He was found dead in his home. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Shimooka won the tour event in Aponia էր In 1995 he was the vice-champion of his best friend Sunny Garcia in Bells, driven by high-speed Greg Webber.

John On travelled through the tour for dozens of seasons, finishing nineteenth in 1995. In 2018, John Shimooka was appointed CEO of Surfing NSW.

Not much is known about John’s wife Lisa or what actually caused her death.

Leaving the tour, Shimooka delved into jujitsu, becoming the manager of famous surfers Craig Anderson and Jord son Smith.

Last year, Shmoo competed in a surfing competition organized by another former specialist, Kurt Niholm, to raise money for Head Space, an Australian charity that provides mental health care for 12-25-year-olds.

“Shmoo talked about his struggle, the dark places they took him to,” said Toby Martin, another tour surfer. “Now we have Sunny (Garcia). So it has to stop, we have to find ways to help. This event offered a passive way for surfers to reach out for help. It was a platform for surfers to lower their defences. It helps to end the isolation of boys, which I know from personal experience, where problems start. ”

Lisa left her husband John, son Brandon, her parents Sandra & Jeff and her beautiful brother Jason, Beautiful aunty of Jade and Kyana. Lisa will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
