Patrulla 81 Founder José Ángel Medina Dies Of COVID-19 Complications

Information reaching our news desk has it that popular vocalist and founder of Patrulla 81 José Ángel Medina has passed away. According to a report from sources, he died this Wednesday after almost two weeks of complications from COVID-19.
The leader of this Duranguense group tested positive for the new Coronavirus on October 16, so he was kept in isolation at his home in Delicias, Chihuahua, however on the 30th it was reported that he had been hospitalized in an emergency, as his breathing began to fail seriously.

Patrulla 81 vocalist last month October tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed in self-isolation at his home “Delicias” in Chihuahua. The singer was taken to the emergency room as he presented several of the symptoms such as shortness of breath.
The musical group based in Durango, Patrulla 81 was established in 1981 by Jose Angel Medina.
