Jade Eamiraa wrote – Being informed of the death of my dear Principal Jamar Robinson is some of the worst news I could’ve ever experienced. Never have I met a man so enthusiastic and truly caring of his students. He was an honourable man and an inspiration to everyone. Rest in power, Mr Robinson.

Jen-Ay wrote – I’m so sorry for the tragic death of Principle Jamar Robinson and his wife from Westlake High School. May they rest in Heaven.

Ashley S. Ellison wrote – The epitome of discipline and leadership, Jamar Robinson is, was, and forever will be remembered for this. His commanding height and presence held the attention of his fellow band members, colleagues, peers, staff, students, and community. His meteoric rise in leadership within the DeKalb County School District and Fulton Public School District was like none other. He was devoted to the Westlake community and they returned the devotion. It hurts each and every time a fellow Marching Panther gains his wings. Rest in power my drum major brother, rest on.
