Man City Former Academy Player Jeremy Wisten Has Passed Away

Man City’s former academy player Jeremy Wisten sadly passed away. Jeremy Wisten was reported to have died over the weekend. His cause of death or what led to his sudden demise has not been disclosed to the public as at the time of filing this report but sources claimed he committed suicide.

In 2016 Jeremy Wisten was signed by Manchester City for their under 13 Elite Squad. That year he came the highly-rated young Malawi-born player who got signed by Manchester City Football Academy.

He was born and raised in Lilongwe to the Malawi parents. Jeremy’s family settled in England when he was one year old.

Prior to Manchester City, Jeremy played grassroots football at Altrincham Juniors FC in Greater Manchester before moving to Salford-based De La Salle FC in 20014 where he helped his team to secure a win for the Manchester FA County Cup in style, conceding only one goal in the entire competition.

He was also opportune to play for Trafford Schoolboys in 2015.
