La Serna Football Player, Cody Stewart Has Passed Away

Information reaching our news desk has it that La Serna Football player, Cody Stewart has sadly passed away. The baseball star, Cody Stewart was tragically murdered last, According to a statement released by the club.

Cody Stewart was stabbed at a sports bar in Anaheim Friday morning. He was hospitalized following the injuries he sustained from the stabbing but was later pronounced dead.

The tragic incident happened at Harvey’s Sports Bar, 1728 S. Euclid, about 2:30 a.m. The Anaheim Police Department has confirmed the stabbing but did not have details of what led to the violence.

Local media said friends of the victim called 911 from a parking lot in the 1300 block of South Anaheim Boulevard, south of the Riverside (91) Freeway, about five miles from where the stabbing occurred, where paramedics found the victim and took him to a hospital.

Cody was of the same class and close friend of Jeremy St. Julian whom who died 3 years ago.

Reacting to Cody’s death the La Serna Football said the club are devasted about the tragic incident. In a series of tweets, they wrote – We would like to express our deepest sympathy & condolences to the family, friends, & teammates of Cody Stewart, who was tragically killed last night. Cody was of the same class & a close friend of Jeremy St. Julian, whom we lost 3 yrs ago. We love you & will miss you #72.

Also reacting to Cody Stewart’s sudden demise, Bobby Quarintino wrote – And my last post wasn’t about Cody. Played baseball and partied with the guy plenty of times before the pandemic and he was a great dude. Sucks to see that he’s gone but at least we can see the impact he had on his friends and family. Prayers out to the Stewart family!.
