Warrant arrest in Dorchester leads to the recovery of drugs and firearms.
The incident that took place in 2020 October 27, 1 p.m. Around 47, officers assigned to Citywide 2 Drug Control, along with FBI gang groups, arrested James Ames Thomas, 43, of Dorchester.
An ongoing investigation revealed that Mr. Thomas had two drug licenses. Officers found Thomas on Blue Hill Avenue in Maywood Street, Dorchester.
As officers approached Thomas, informing him that he was being arrested for outstanding orders, he began to stand back and refused to put his hands behind his back.
After a secure arrest, handcuffs, and search, officers found weapons in the Thomas waist area, as well as two plastic bags containing ten pieces of white rock that allegedly broke cocaine. The Smith ես Wesson .45 caliber MP rifle was loaded in a single box with six boxes in the locker.
The suspect Thomas has been charged. Illegal possession of firearms, illegal possession of ammunition և Class B, intentional possession of drugs (coca break). Mr Thomas is expected to appear in Roxbury’s court.
