Information reaching our news desk has it that the Legendary Welsh musician and multi-instrumentalist and the founder of the 1960’s beat band “The Spencer Davis Group”, Spencer Davis have passed away. The talented guitarist and singer was reported to have passed on today October 20 2020. His cause of death has not been made known to the public. He died at the age of 81.
His friend, Patti took to his Twitter handle to announce that the legendary guitarist has passed on.
In a series of tweets he wrote – Got to meet Spencer Davis and Denny Laine(of the Moody Blues and Paul McCartney and Wings) in 2007 on a ferry heading to Red Bank, NY. We were all on our way to see the band fabfauxnyc perform at a music venue there. That was a cool day! RIP Spencer Davis.

Few Things You Need To Know About Spencer Davis
Davis was born in Swansea, South Wales. His father served as a landing party and later as a GPO engineer, says Davis in the 1966 television documentary The Whole Scene.
Influenced by his uncle Herman playing the mandolin, Spencer Davis began learning to play the accordion at the age of six. He then attended Dingor School, where he took seven GCE O-level exams. He moved to London when he was sixteen and began working in the civil service as a caretaker officer at the Hermesmith Post Savings Bank and HM Customs and Excise.
However, he returned to his old school to study at A language levels, becoming Head Boy in 1959. In 1960, he moved to Birmingham to study German at the University of Birmingham.
