French Teacher Decapitated In Paris After Showing Students Cartoon Images Of Prophet Mohammed

47-year-old Samuel Paty has been identified as the French teacher who was beheaded after showing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed to pupils. Samuel Patti before showing the pictures requested that students who don’t wish to see the images to leave the classroom. He was a French middle-school teacher.

Samuel Paty who was a History and geography teacher had earlier received death threats for showing the Charlie Hebdo cartoon of Prophet Mohammed in a lesson on freedom of expression.

The Education Minister of France Jean-Michel Blanquer described the horrific incident as an attack on the French nation as a whole

The mastermind of this deadly act as been identified as 18-year-old Aboulakh A – a Russian national of Chechen origin.

According to reports from sources he was gunned down by police after hacking off his victim’s head with a kitchen knife in the Paris suburb of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine on Friday.

Nine people – including members of the attacker’s family – have been arrested.

The terrorist was believed to be furious children had been shown the cartoon.

Before his deadly move, the 18-year-old Aboulakh A was said to have shouted Allahu Akbar – meaning God is the greatest.

The suspect then posted a graphic image of Samuel on social media alongside a threat in French to those who “insult” the prophet, local media reports.
