French Teacher Decapitated In Paris After Showing Students Cartoon Images Of Prophet Mohammed

47-year-old Samuel Paty has been identified as the French teacher who was beheaded after showing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed to pupils. The mastermind of this deadly act as been identified as 18-year-old Aboulakh A – a Russian national of Chechen origin.

According to reports from sources he was gunned down by police after hacking off his victim’s head with a kitchen knife in the Paris suburb of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine on Friday.

Nine people – including members of the attacker’s family – have been arrested.
