2 Men Loses Their Lives After Apparent Murder-Suicide In Beaumont



Joshua Vasquez 41 years of age and Jeromy Smith 48 years of age has been identified as the two men who lost their lives in what was described as an apparent murder-suicide in Beaumont Saturday night on September 26 2020.

The identities of the men were revealed and confirmed by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.

The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner office stated that Joshua Vasquez was the person who was shot first, at 11:07 p.m. Seven minutes later, Jeromy also suffered fatal wounds.

Police were investigating the shooting after a woman called 911 and reported that her husband was holding a gun and had just shot a neighbour at a home in the 35000 block of Trevino Trail, according to the Beaumont Police Department.

Arriving the scene of the tragic incident Bureau officers found one man dead on the kitchen floor and another inside a bedroom.

The motive of the shooting is still not yet known as at the time of filing this report.

The founder of the Grassroots Law Project, Shaun King who said he spoke with Joshua Vasquez’s sister stated that she told him that his brother’s last words before his death were “Black Lives Matter” and then his neighbour said “All Lives Matter” then shot and killed him.

Shaun King tweeted – I just spoke to the sister of Joshua Vasquez. His last words were “Black Lives Matter” before his neighbour said “All Lives Matter” then shot and killed Joshua. A husband, father, son, brother, and essential worker. He was the Director of Respiratory at Redlands Hospital.

    Josh would of never said BLM.
    The whole story in fabricated by a cheating wife that got caught by her husband.

      Only witness was Aleandra smith, the cheating wife of Jeromy.
