Jammu and Kashmir Clash: Two soldiers dead, four injured after Pakistan soldiers initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in Nowgam Sector



Violent clash in Jammu and Kashmir have taken the lifes of tTwo soldiers died and four others  injured after  Pakistan soldiers  initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in Nowgam Sector, Kupwara this morning.

“Indian Army is retaliating, The injured persons are being evacuated.” reports said

The Army responded by saying that a befitting reply will be given to Pakistan, that is using mortars to target Indian positions. It is not known whether the Pakistan army has suffered any casualty.

In Nowgam sector, two soldiers died and four others were injured after Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation in Kupwara.

In pooch, an Army jawan was killed and another injured when Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire and resorted to heavy firing and mortar shelling in forward areas. The Pakistan Army initiated the unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing from small arms and intense shelling of mortars along the LoC in the Mankote and Krishna Ghati sectors on Wednesday night, a defence spokesperson said.

Lance Naik Karnail Singh was killed in the firing from across the border, the spokesperson said. “The general officer commanding of the White Knight Corps and all ranks salute braveheart Lance Naik Karnail Singh, who made the supreme sacrifice in the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district on the night of September 30, and offer condolences to his family,” he said.

Another jawan was injured in the firing in the Krishna Ghati sector and has been hospitalised.

Since five days, Pakistan has been targeting the hamlets in Poonch causing injuries to several animals due to shelling on Tuesday.
