Doctor Dies Unexpectedly One Week After The Death Of A Child At His Clinic

Dr Anoop Krishna, owner of Anoop Orthocare hospital in Kadappakada of Kollam district is dead. The doctor who lost a six-year-old child a week ago at his hospital was found dead Thursday morning at his home.

Dr Anoop Krishna is a consultant Arthroscopy Sports Medicine Arthroplasty Surgeon at Anoop Ortho Care.

Police have launched an investigation on the death of Dr Anoop Krishna to ascertain if his demise was anything related to the death of the 6-year-old child at his clinic.

The parents of the child who alleged that their daughter died of anaesthesia had lodged a complaint to the police.

While speaking to TNM news, The Kollam East Station stated that they have taken a case against the hospital for unnatural death. The child was under treatment in the hospital. We are not sure that whether the two incidents are connected, he said.

After the child’s death, the relatives had raised allegations that a major flaw while giving anaesthesia had caused her death. However, the hospital authorities had said that a heart attack during surgery caused death.

Adhya Lakshmi was admitted to the hospital last week for the surgery.

Police said the Postmortem report of is not yet out and any information relating to the incident will be known only after the postmortem report.

“Further details will be known only after the postmortem report. We are not sure whether the doctor was depressed after the incident. He was found dead in his house,” the police officer said.
