Jaimi Kenny Was Left Heartbroken After The Death Of Her Boyfriend In 2017

The news of Jaimi Kenny’s death has left Australians in deep shock. The 33-year-old daughter of Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny died unexpectedly earlier this week.

The statement released by the family reports that Jaimi passed away at the Sunshine Coast University hospital on Monday morning.

Excerpts from the statement

“It is with a very heavy heart that Lisa and I confirm that our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long-term illness and passed away peacefully in hospital this morning in the company of loving family,” a statement from Kenny read.

“We thank the incredible team at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for their tireless commitment to making her better and giving us as the extra time we were able to spend with her.

“It goes without saying that this is a very difficult time for family and friends and we trust we will all be allowed to grieve in privacy.”

Jaimi Kenny who battled alcoholism and eating disorder before she died lost her boyfriend and soulmate, Lachy Crossley 3 years ago at the age of 31. Lachy Crossley’s cause of death was not disclosed to the public. Jaimi was left heartbroken after the death of her boyfriend.

The couple were described as a “modern-day Romeo and Juliet”. Lachy Crossley tragically and suddenly passed away in July 2017. They had just moved in together when Lachy died. It was a devastating blow to Jaimi and one she may never have recovered from.

Jaimi’s boyfriend Lachy was the owner of a water leak detection business at Maroochydore.

Dr Crossley-Craven labelled him ‘an absolute gentleman’ who regularly expressed his love for Jaimi by gifting her flowers.

‘He taught her to skate and they loved going to the beach together. They certainly loved each other and they both loved children.’

Jaimi’s Family Reacts To Her Death

Jaimi’s brother Jett who was devastated on the sudden demise of her sister said they both love each other unconditionally.

“I may not have been the best brother to you all the time, I know you thought you weren’t being the big sister I needed all the time, but I do know we loved one another unconditionally all the time”, he said.

Her sister Morgan said, “it still doesn’t feel real that you are not here”.

“I am grateful for you. There is no one like you. I love you so much and will forever miss you. Rest now, beautiful sister. You will never be forgotten,” she added.

Jaimi was a nanny who adored children and spoke about her hope to one day have children of her own.
