The day God called you home.
I’m in shock and disbelief writing this and trying to process how our lives were flipped upside down in the blink of an eye. I don’t know how to move forward without my person for the last eleven years.
We grew up together, travelled, got married, built our home, and created the most beautiful little girl. I will do my best to stay strong for Delia and tell her each day how lucky we were to call you “ours”. We love you so much. I hope she grows to inherit your kind heart and love for others.
Your life was just getting started. I can’t fathom a world without you and never thought I would have to. The immeasurable sadness I feel solidifies just how much of a light you were to me, your family, and countless others. The world needs more Jordans.
In the coming days, arrangements will be made to celebrate Jordan’s life. I would love nothing more than to know some of your favourite memories, hear the impact he had on your life, and see pictures of Jordan. Thank you in advance, for the support and prayers as our family navigates this difficult time.
The NDSU Basketball has also reacted to the unexpected death of Jordan. Paying their heartfelt condolences to the family of Jordan in a series of tweets they wrote – Rest in Peace, J. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Aaberg family. We’ll miss our teammate and our brother, but always remember the man that he was.
