Indian prominent Monk & Founder of Hindu Munnani, Ramagopalan Ji is dead

A Hindu warrior reaches moksha today. Ramagopalan ji, Founder of Hindu Munnani has died,  Rama Gopalan died at a private hospital on Wednesday evening due to a chronic illness.

Hindu Munnani was founded in 1980 by Ramagopalan. Since then, Ramagopalan has always been seen as a lobbyist for Hindu rights, fighting Islamic right-wing radical Islamic groups and vehemently opposing Christianity.

Rama Gopalan who was tested positive for COVID virus was undergoing treatment. Reports said that the veteran leader succumbed to the infection, unfortunately.

The Hindu Munnani first gained public awareness in 1982 when it began to mobilise the Hindu population of Ramanathapuram district in response to the Meenakshipuram conversions by Ishaatul Islam Sabha of South India Since then, the Hindu Munnani has often espoused the cause of Hindus.

However, the most remarkable achievement of the Hindu Munnani was the organisation of Vinayaka Chathurthi processions in Tamil Nadu.

On 16 May 2006, the Hindu Munnani organised the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the installation of the shivalinga in the Jalakanteswarar temple in Vellore.
