People demand justice for the death of Rosimar Rodriguez – Young lady who was kidnapped and killed in Dorado

A 20-year-old woman, Rosimar Rodriguez has been identified as the woman whose dead body was found in Dorado.

According to reports, the young lady was kidnapped in front of her residence in the Sabana Seca neighbourhood, in Toa Baja, during the night of September 17.

The director of the Institute of Forensic Sciences (ICF), María Conte Miller, confirmed yesterday that Rosimar’s body was found on the shores of the PR-165 highway in the El Caracol sector, in Dorado

“We have positively identified, by the dental record, the case of the young woman from Dorado, from Rosimar. The body is scientifically identified, the cause of death has been established and the autopsy is completed. We have informed the family and we have informed the prosecution, “Conte Miller said at a press conference.

The remains were located during the afternoon of yesterday, Sunday, about 100 to 150 feet from the side of the road where bullet shells were recovered as evidence through confidences.

“It is a death that is not natural and will be investigated by prosecutors and law enforcement officers,” Conte Miller said.

The authorities have interviewed more than 10 people in relation to the disappearance of Rodríguez Gómez, however, no person has yet been arrested as a suspect in the crime.

The motive of the kidnapping that led to the sudden demise of Rosimar Rodriguez Gomez is still yet unknown.

The police have interviewed at least 12 people and occupied a vehicle as part of the investigation related to the kidnapping, which kept the country in suspense.

This morning, Captain Ricardo Haddock Torres, director of the Bayamón Criminal Investigation Corps, did not reveal whether there were men and women among those interviewed but confirmed to NotiCel that three interviewees had become persons of interest.

Police Gives Update On Rosimar Rodriguez’s Death

The body in an advanced state of decomposition that was found on Sunday afternoon in the El Caracol sector in Dorado had at least one bullet impact and the clothing and footwear that she has are the same as that of the young Rosimar Rodríguez Gómez, reported as kidnapped on September 17 in Toa Baja, the Police confirmed.

The police seized a vehicle in Dorado that matches the description of the car used in the kidnapping of Rodríguez Gómez.
